If you're reading this you're likely caring for someone you love.

You're wanting the very best for your mum, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt or ageing loved one. And you or your family are probably finding it really hard, exhausting, confusing, often thankless and relentless.

From dementia to late life depression and anxiety, from navigating the aged care maze to carer stress and support. There is so much to learn, so many appointments and diagnoses, and so many emotions.

Firstly, I just want to say that you and your family are not alone. Being a carer is one of the hardest roles we'll play in our lives - while similtaneously trying to juggle the rest of life's responsibilities (kids, pets, friends, work - and our own mental health too).

As a clinical psychologist specialising in older people's mental health and dementia, I've helped 1,000+ families walk this journey. I’ve come to know that while every family’s story is unique, we all share the same fears and questions about ageing.

My promise to you is that together, we'll solve problems, you'll have more clarity for today, and you'll understand the options and next steps for tomorrow. My hope is to provide your family with greater peace of mind, and more confidence, knowledge, skills and strategies to make this stage of life easier. We will reduce your fears and anxieties, manage carer stress and prevent burnout.

My first course goes live soon!

My 7 Step System
to Managing Carer Stress
& Preventing Burnout

(and now also including the creation

of your 'Future Planning Roadmap')

I'm here to help you transform your family's care story.

Imagine feeling less overwhelmed, less exhausted and less stressed. Imagine having more clarity, more alignment, greater confidence, and even experiencing joy.

I've helped more than 1,000 families and it's possible for your family too.

This course is for you, if you are:

  • Caring for Mum, Dad or an ageing loved one

  • Feeling alone

  • Finding it hard... really hard

  • Already suffering from carer stress or burnout

  • Wanting to prevent carer stress and burnout

  • Or if you just know that something needs to change...

And here is how I will help you...

I will walk you through my Care Triangle framework, which will:

  1. Allow you to show up as the carer you want to be, which includes reducing your stress, overwhelm, exhaustion, fear

  2. Align your family, by clarifying roles and expectations, to reduce conflict and successfully work together as a team

  3. Ultimately, offer your Mum, Dad or ageing loved one the best possible care

And how will I help your family achieve these outcomes?

At first I will share what success can look like; how I have helped families move from struggle, overwhelm, conflict and confusion; to clarity, alignment, a true understanding of your ageing loved one's wishes, and each family member's role in their care team.

Then we look at where you are today. Your own carer stress symptoms, get clarity on the causes creating the carer stress, and also look within - why are you doing what you're doing.

And then, it's where the magic happens. I’ll share my 7 Step System and give you the same strategies and actionable exercises that I’ve used with families over the past decade.

This includes:

  1. How to build a village and share the care

  2. How to fill your cup and invest in yourself as a carer

  3. How to navigate changes in relationship dynamics

  4. Learn how to access reliable education and training to build your confidence as a carer

  5. Create family alignment by having the big, essential conversations to better understand your Mum, Dad or ageing loved one’s wishes, and clarify each family member's role

  6. How to create a practical solid plan for the future

  • Bonus step: How to manage family conflict

7. How to reduce the financial stress and strain of caring

Each step of my 7 Step System includes actionable exercises I have used with 1,000+ families. Some for you to complete as the primary carer, others for you to complete together with your ageing loved one and/or family. This course is a 'doing' course. By taking action and implementing these strategies you can genuinely change transform your family's care story - and your life

If this feels out of reach for your family right now...

That is completely normal. Almost all of the families I’ve worked with have felt the same way when we first met. And I’ve helped them by using this system, to genuinely transform their family’s care story and truly change their lives. I promise that this is possible for you, and I’m here to walk this journey alongside you. Let's start transforming your family’s care story today. We can do this - together!
